Privacy and data
Nippon Vegan Guide privacy notice.
Who runs the site, which data we process, why we process it and how you can exercise your rights.
Controller and contact
The website and data controller is Zero Softworks di Peretto Alex, Italian VAT no. IT04514000241. For privacy questions, access, deletion, objection or consent-withdrawal requests, email info@zerosoftworks.it. You do not need an account to read the site.
Data we process
We may process technical data needed to deliver and protect the pages, such as IP address, date and device information in the hosting provider's logs. We store the nvg-consent cookie preference in your browser. If you choose the newsletter, we process your email and the consent date/source recorded in the site's database.
Articles saved with the Save button stay in your device's localStorage and are not sent to the controller. The current code does not use Google Analytics, social pixels or embedded social content.
Purposes and legal bases
Processing is limited to the purposes needed for the site's editorial operation:
- deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep it secure: technical necessity and, where applicable, the controller's legitimate interest;
- Google advertising and related measurement: express, optional and withdrawable consent collected before AdSense loads;
- newsletter: express consent through an unticked checkbox; the form does not send messages automatically and currently only records the subscription request;
- reply to requests you voluntarily send: handling the request and the legitimate interest in communicating with the person who contacted us.
Newsletter
Subscription requires a separate action and an unticked consent checkbox. The system records the address, date and consent source/version; we will not use the address for different purposes without a separate legal basis. You can ask for deletion by emailing info@zerosoftworks.it.
The site is not currently connected to an external sending service. Before campaigns or email tracking are activated, the notice, withdrawal process and provider configuration must be reviewed.
Recipients, providers and transfers
Technical data is processed by the providers that host and protect the site and database. Google may receive data and read/write advertising identifiers only after a positive advertising choice, according to the AdSense setup and Google's notices. Links to Klook, shops, classes or other sites take you to the relevant operator when opened; that operator's rules then apply.
If a provider operates outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must be covered by GDPR safeguards and the provider's terms. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Technical data is retained for the period set by the provider and needed for security. The cookie preference lasts 180 days, after which the banner may appear again. The newsletter address remains until withdrawal or deletion is requested, with periodic reviews of contacts that are no longer needed. Privacy requests are kept only as long as needed to handle them and demonstrate compliance with applicable obligations.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection where provided by the GDPR. You may withdraw consent to advertising or the newsletter at any time; withdrawal does not make earlier processing unlawful. We normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions.
To exercise a right, email info@zerosoftworks.it with the request and a useful contact detail. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you may complain to the Italian data protection authority.
Updates and accountability
This notice describes the code and services currently active. New analytics, embeds, campaigns or partners require a prior review and updates to this page, the cookie policy and the consent settings.
